About the Artist
Painting has been Bree's passion since her early years. When her parents gave
her free rein to paint her room, she started painting murals. Over time, her interests gravitated towards teaching others how to paint as well as continuing to paint murals on a large scale.
Bree has an undergraduate degree, a BS in Pre-Occupational Therapy from Baylor University, a Master’s degree in teaching from studies at the University of Texas at Arlington combined with studies at La Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In college, she continued to paint art pieces and sell them in small venues, cafes, and boutiques.
After graduating, she moved to Spain for four years, teaching while studying the language and the arts. Upon returning from Spain in 2004, she taught Spanish and Art and continued to sell her art & murals to clients. Now, 12 years later, she is a full-time muralist for her company, BREE The Mural Girl LLC.
In 2016 Bree opened her first art studio, BRUSH. Her studio offers the perfect setting for parties and classes. Bree is a strong advocate for the arts as a means to healing. Her studio reflects this passion by including classes with a specific emphasis on children with special needs and by providing art therapy to all ages.
